BIO-ETHICS CELL

ICMR-NARI Institutional Ethics Committee NARI-EC) has been functioning for over 15 years and has been registered with CDSCO since 2013. We follow ICMR- ethical guidelines (2017), ICH-GCP, Schedule Y guidelines and the New Drugs and Clinical Trial Rules, March 2019.

The current EC roster has 10 external members with the non-voting member secretary from ICMR-NARI. The ICMR-NARI EC cell comprises of the the non-voting member secretary as well as an EC-Coordinator. The EC follows ‘Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which are regularly updated and meets every quarter to review all the studies conducted in ICMR-NARI.
